Web design projects we have worked on recently…
IAmSamAdams.com - A political blog that launched in May of 2011. The views and opinions expressed on this website are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the views of Shore Web Tech LLC.
BarnegatOnline.com - A community portal for the Township of Barnegat, New Jersey. This is our home town and BarnegatOnline.com is our own, ongoing project. The website currently has a very powerful system that imports news articles and local events from over 10 sources and organizes them on the fly into categories we want to focus on. In the future, we plan to expand the website to be the one-stop-shop for all Barnegat information, it will ultimately include info related to the Schools, the Township, the Police Department, Local Businesses, Real Estate listings, etc…
Unfailing Love Ministries - In 2003, Unfailing Love started as a Christian ministry in Asbury Park, they quickly grew and started their own church in 2008 named “Unfailing Love Fellowship”. Over the years, the Unfailing Love website had compiled a vast number of pages, photos, and video on their website, which became overwhelming to maintain and keep organized. They needed a reliable CMS such as WordPress to set some checks and balances. Their website redesign now allows them to easily organize all pages of the site and add new content as needed. Also included in the redesign is a shared public calendar via Google and integration with their YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook accounts.
LaceyChamberOfCommerce.com - In the summer of 2010, Lacey Township, NJ decided to re-launch their chamber of commerce, and along with it, a new website. They required a CMS (such as WordPress), this helped them manage the website themselves on a day to day basis, reducing website maintenance costs. We also setup several Google hosted services for them using Google App for Business. This provided personalized web mail (Gmail), online calendars and shared documents.
HomesteadRun.com - Homestead Run had a very outdated website prior to our redesign. The site itself had limited functionality and also did not provide any way for the company to make changes to the pages or listings within the site. The framework for the new website was built using an open source CMS (Content Management System) that allows Homestead Run to make changes to pages as they see fit. The new website is also interactive with search capability for their entire inventory of real estate listings. The CMS we chose for this real estate related website was OpenRealty, a very handy real estate CMS.
Crossroads Portal - The “Crossroads Portal” is a company intranet that was designed for the sales agents of Crossroads Realty. This portal serves as a very basic one-stop website with tools and links to everything a real estate agent needs to conduct their business. Prior to this portal, the company did not have any unified way of organizing online links, documents, and services. Plans are currently in progress to redesign this website again to provide more security for sensitive information and also support for currently popular social networking and business web services.
I Don’t Know Butchie, Instead - A fan website for the HBO show “John From Cincinnati. The website is simply a place to keep track of information about the show and trying to decode the meaning of it.
RJPONZIO.COM - This is my personal blog. It was built on Wordpress along with many add-ons and plug-ins that you can view on the updates page. I now use the website for everything basically, including my articles that I write on technology subjects, some of which, relate to my full time job running the IT dept of a family owned real estate company.
